October 20, 2007 - DI District Tournament
Pickerington Central 6th with 168
The Tiger Boy's Cross Country team finished 6th out of 21 schools to qualify to the
Regional meet. It is the first time since the 2003 Fall Campaign that the Tiger's have made it to the
regional meet as a team. Leading the way with a 4th place finish was Joe
Taranto with 16:10. He was followed by Keshav Swaminathan with 17:06, Joe Corll
with 17:10, Jeff William with 17:30, Ronnie Brinley with 17:40, Steve
Blake with 18:07, and Nate Ramsey with 18:22. Next weekend, the Tiger Boy's Harriers run at
Pickerington North at 2:50pm for the Regional Meet. Come out and support the Tigers.

Scoring: The Tigers finished 5th out of 14 DI teams and 5th out of 22 teams overalls at the Erin L. Nance Invitational at London. The top finishers for the Tigers were Taranto (6th 16:33), Keshav Swaminathan (22nd 17:35), Joe Corll (27th 17:38), Jeff Williams (39th 17:56), Stephen Blake (50 18:16), and Ronnie Brinley (57th 18:25). Jeff Williams (jr) set a p.r. for the first time since his freshman season and is the Athlete of the Week for this meet.

The Tiger Boy's Cross Country Team had a successful weekend at the Lebanon Running Warrior Invitational where they finished 6th out of 21 teams to improve upon last years 8th place finish. Leading the way for the Tiger Harrier's was Joe
Taranto, who finished in 3rd out of 143 runners with a time of 16:41. He was followed by Joe
Corll 38th at 17:55), Jeff Williams 40th at 17:59), Jordan Miller 51st at
18:20), Keshav Swaminathan 52nd at 18:23), Steve Blake 57th at 18:31), and Nate
Ramsey 62nd at 18:38). Eight Tigers set personal records. They are Joe Taranto, Jordan Miller, Steve Blake, Nate Ramsey, Tyler
Miller (20:57), Jordan Ivan (20:52), Morrice Scott (21:59), and Jon Pierre
